Twitter to Post Larger Images In Timelines
Twitter today said it is improving the multimedia experience of Twitter.com by changing how it handles images. Moving forward, Twitter will now show full image previews, rather than crop them. Twitter is also altering the appearance of tweets that contain multiple photos, which will show more of each image included in the tweet. Twitter didn't say if these changes will be applied to its mobile apps.
Twitter Wants You to Dress Up Images with Stickers
Twitter today said it is bringing stickers to its Android and iOS mobile apps. Twitter users can browse through Twitter's library of hundreds of accessory, emoji, and prop stickers to "make your photos more fun." Twitter says people can use multiple stickers on a single photo, as well as resize and rotate the stickers to better fit the image.
Twitter @Replies No Longer Count Toward 140-Character Limit
Twitter today improved its service a little bit by cutting @replies from the character limit. Moving forward, when people reply to an individual or to a group, the @username(s) will not count toward the Tweet's 140 characters.

Twitter today made it easier to publish tweet storms, or threads. The use of threads, a way to string together a series of tweets to tell a longer story, has risen in popularity over the last few years.
Twitter Unifying iPhone and iPad App UIs
Twitter said it is bridging the gap between its iPhone and iPad applications so users have the same experience no matter which device they pick up. The iPhone and iPad apps were originally developed separately, according to Twitter.
